William Van Snooks

William  Van  Snooks, 38, was born May 27, 1982 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He was the beloved son of  William F. Snooks and the late Jeanetta M. Jordan.  On  January 28, 2021, Bill, as he was affectionately called, passed away of natural causes surrounded by love and family.

Bill was a graduate of Peabody High School. He loved and played football and baseball. To say he enjoyed cooking would be an understatement. William graduated from Bidwell Training Center in the Culinary Program. He was a chef at The Cheesecake Factory. He shared his life with his fiancée Erica Franklin and son Elijah, who will miss him dearly. His departure from this world was devastating to his family and friends. Those who knew him realized he was truly one of a kind.

William is survived by his father, William F. Snooks; brothers, Jared T. Snooks, Chantz W. Snooks; host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
