Tyrant L. Sutton, 16, of Clairton, PA, was a bright light whose presence was felt the moment he walked into any room. With a smile that could shift the mood and a laugh that echoed joy, Tyrant brought warmth, laughter, and unforgettable energy to everyone he encountered. A proud middle child, he shared a unique bond with each of his four siblings—two older, two younger—often serving as the glue that held them together.
Tyrant attended Clairton School District and had recently begun carving out his path in the workforce at McDonald's, where his leadership and drive were already being recognized—on track to become a team lead.
A gifted athlete and artist, Tyrant shined on and off the field. He loved rap music, football, fashion, and dancing. Known as the life of the party, he had a talent for making everyone laugh and feel included. His presence was magnetic—full of love, loyalty, and the kind of hugs that made you feel safe and seen.
Tyrant was a proud member of Mount Olive First Baptist Church, where he had recently given his life to Christ through baptism—an important step that brought peace and joy to him and his family.
Tyrant departed this life too soon on June 26, 2025, at AHN Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville, PA. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Tera Meade-Smith and Mae Sutton; grandfather Keith Simore; and uncle Tauvea Hurt.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents, Tyrone L. Sutton and Marlonna May; brothers, Tymar and Ty'Yaire Sutton; sisters, Annyah Smith and A'Miracle Sutton; grandfather, Marland May; great-grandmother, Patricia Meade; great-great-grandmother, Lowell Owens; nephews, Sevynn and S’maj Brown; bonus mothers, Daysha Stewart and Raelynn Sutton; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends who will forever carry his light in their hearts.
Though his time with us was brief, Tyrant’s impact was deep. His spirit lives on in every laugh, every beat, every memory. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered with endless love.
