Theretha Lillian Marshall, 90 of Clairton departed this life on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Kane Community Living Center-McKeesport.  She was born September 22, 1932, in McKeesport Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Samuel P. Allen, Sr, and Lillian J. Allen.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Marshall, two brothers Donald Allen, Sr and John Allen, two sisters Florence Bookert and Jessie Brownfield, and two stepsons Robert Marshall Jr (Bobby) and David Marshall.

She was a longtime member of Gethsemane Church of God in Christ, Clairton for more than 60 years.  She served in many capacities in the church such as the Mother’s Board, Pastor’s Aide, and many other areas of the church. She worked at Magee-Women’s Hospital in the Maternity Ward taking care of the babies, and Clairton School District in the Food Service Department.

She leaves to mourn her passing, son Harold Allen (Norma) of McKeesport, Robynn Marshall of West Mifflin, step-son Jonathan Marshall (TaTanise) of Homestead, and adopted son, John Wesley Batch (Carrie) of NC; sister, Shirley Felton, of McKeesport, PA. and brother, Samuel P. Allen, Jr., of  Wichita, KS., twenty-six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
