Terrie George Sayles, age 67, of Duquesne, Pa, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Born on July 19, 1957, in McKeesport, Pa, Terrie was the beloved daughter of Georgia Joy Dunn George and Calvin George.

She graduated from Duquesne High School in 1975. She continued her education at Community College of Allegheny County earning an associates degree from Robert Morris College. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from California University of Pennsylvania in 2017 achieving a long held personal goal.

She spent much of her life taking care of her family and helping others, which was truly her calling. Terrie was known for her kindness, strength, sense of humor, compassion, and her love for her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Her creativity with arts and crafts, wedding planning, cooking, traveling, and her deep devotion to her family brought her so much joy. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making people feel welcome and heard.

She is survived by her mother, Georgia Joy Dunn George, her father, Calvin George (Barbara), her husband the late Lysle Richard Sayles, her son Brandon (Katie), her grandchildren, Kyla and Brandon, her stepsons, Richard and Elrick Sayles, her brother Calvin George, her sister the late LaRue George, many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who will miss her warmth, wisdom and wonderful smile.
