Shedawn T. Daviston

Shedawn Tandeka Daviston,50, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania departed this life on September 16, 2023. She was born on December 31,1972 to Don Juan Charles Daviston and Karin Denise Crosby-Wilson.

Shedawn was a loving mother to three beautiful girls: Emmau Michelle Crosby, Sharell Daneka Daviston, and Moriah Lina Crosby. Also, a doting grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren; Naamah Crosby, Jaiden Sims, Mason Wright, and Kasir Crosby.

She was also a hardworking woman and devoted herself to her workplace. Some of her jobs included Goodwill in 2016 where she worked in customer service and in the sorting room. She then worked as a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn in 2020. Her most recent employment was with McDonald's in West Mifflin. Starting in 2021, she was a valued and loved employee and considered her crewmates like family. She also acquired employee of the month in June 2023, which was a very proud moment for her.

Shedawn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was known for being the life of the party and brightening up a room with her smile and loving personality. She loved a good plate of food, could dominate any spades table, and loved to dance.

But most importantly she loved the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Shedawn was a dedicated member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in McKeesport, PA for many years and also served in the woman's group ministry.

Shedawn was preceded in death her, father, Don Juan Daviston, grandparents; Mary Mae (Roy) Daviston, Betty (Harvey) Grant, and brother; Carvelle "Bobe" Crosby.

She leaves to cherish her mother Karin Crosby-Wilson, Daughters Emmau Crosby (Naamah, Jaiden, Kasir) Sharell Daviston, and Moriah Crosby (Mason). Siblings, William Scott, and Alina (Floyd) Brown. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many friends.
