Rocco Dontez Scott, 50, of Duquesne, PA, was born March 18, 1976, in McKeesport, PA. He was the beloved son of the late Raymond White, Sr., and Jillina Scott.

Rocco was a graduate of Duquesne High School class of 1995, where he participated and thrived in every sport: baseball, football, and basketball. He was a star! He was always so very proud to be a Duquesne Duke. In Rocco’s free time, he enjoyed reviewing old Duquesne Dukes sports footage/highlights. 

He also enjoyed a wide variety of music, classic sitcoms, and movies. His DVD collection was insane. As years passed, Rocco went on to obtain his CDL while working as a chef at many restaurants. We cannot fail to mention Mr. Wilson's kitchen, where the famous “Rocco Burger” was served and loved. Rocco would do anything to spend time with all his family. Lord knows, he loved a good-ole last-minute cookout.

Rocco’s children meant more to him than life itself, and he was a super proud grandfather. Rocco was very playful with you, whether you knew him or not, and if he gave you a nickname, then that’s how you knew he really rocc’d with you. He will be so missed by us all, and we thank you all for joining us to celebrate his life. 

Rocco departed this life on May 4, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, father, Raymond White, Sr., and mother, Jillina Scott, and brother Darrly Truley.

Rocco is survived by his 4 children, Rocco Scott, Jr., of Pittsburgh, PA, Reyna Scott, Rylee Scott, both of Port Vue, PA, and Ryatt Scott, of West Mifflin, PA, 3 grandchildren, King (Reese Cup Man) Parks, Major (pap pap) Scott, Nariah (Tinker Bell) Moore, siblings, Raymond Jenkins, Kelly Jenkins Hines, Raylette Beatty, Raymond (Veena)White, Jaquanda Scott, Jaquala (Ryan)Blackwell, Aaron (Kaylia) Scott, Jalisa Scott, Derrick White, Terrie Bennett, and Bonus father, Aaron Butler, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
