Robert Smith

Robert Smith, born and raised in Clairton, PA, departed this life on December 12, 2020, at Jefferson Hospital.  He was the beloved son of the late Edward and Laverne (Jones) Smith. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Smith, brothers, Charles and Richard Smith.

Robert affectionately known as “Bobby” was a Clairton High School graduate. He went on to work at US Steel Mill, Irvin Works. Bobby loved sitting at the bus stop, watching tv, and making people laugh. He had a deep passion for cars.

Robert is survived by his two sisters, Bonnie Smith of Charlotte, NC, Valerie Smith of Clairton, PA; four brothers, Tony Smith of Charlotte, NC, Vernon Smith of Pittsburgh, Michael Smith of Pittsburgh, Kenneth Smith of Clairton, PA; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
