It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Neal, who left us on April 26, 2026, in Duquesne, PA.  He was born July 23, 1952, in Portsmouth, VA, to Wesley Neal and Mildred L. Harper.

Robert Neal attended school in the Portsmouth School District in Portsmouth, VA.

Robert enlisted in the US Army, where he served in Germany.

In his past time, he loved putting together and painting any type of models.

Robert Neal was married to the late Germaine Petty Neal.  From their union, they had 7 children: Shawn Petty (Tina Magwood), Robert Petty, Latanya Petty, Timothy Petty, Tamela Petty, Nizere Petty, and Ziere Petty.

 Robert is survived by his brothers Wesley "Sherman" Neal, Gale Lorenzo Neal, Randy Neal, Anthony Harper, McKenzie “TT” Neal, Gustavius “Gus” Neal, and Harold Lee Harper; sisters Eva May Harper, Jeanette Harper, Deneen Hudson and Melinda Neal, who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Neal.
