Reuther Sinkler, 63 years old, was born May 17, 1956 in McKeesport, PA, son of the late Ruther Sinkler Jr. and Sarah Johnson Sinkler Hardin. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Camille Sinkler, brother, William and sister, Sarah.
Reuther was affectionately known as Dynamite, Hollywood. In Baltimore, they called him Pittsburgh. Reuther graduated from Clairton High School. He loved food and sports; especially football, baseball and basketball. On Friday nights, you would find Kenny Brasswell, his brother Craig and him at the Bears football game. During football season, you could find him in front of the TV calling out plays like he was a coach. He attended his son’s softball games (Quiet Storm & Dobby 88). Reuther was a former member of First A.M.E and member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church.
Reuther loved people especially his family, his greatest love was his children, Jalea Carter, Courtney and Skylar, all of Clairton, PA. He felt blessed with his 3 grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his sister, Catherine Sinkler of Clairton, PA; brothers, Lawrence (Rhonda) Sinkler of Baltimore, MD, Craig Sinkler of Clairton, PA; his soldiers, Kenneth Braswell, Byron Johnson, Roland Johnson, Charles Wade, Vallice Ford, and William Jordon; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
