Paul Michael Carter, 75, of Pittsburgh, was born May 20, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA. He was the beloved son of Paul and Nacoma (Williams) Carter.
Paul was educated in the Philadelphia School System and continued his education at Central State where, across the lawn at Wilberforce University, he met the love of his life...Beckie. After graduation from the University of Pittsburgh. He pursued a career in Chemistry and was in the lab almost his entire career. He retired in 2015 from Sony Chemicals.
Paul could not drive 55... and never was without camera equipment. He was always taking photos of his favorite subjects...FAMILY. Uncle Paul...“WOULD GET THAT SHOT!”
Hair not done ?…click! Mouth full of food ?…click! And every new edition to the family…click! He loved music and ice-cold beer on a hot summer day. The only thing better than a car show was an airshow. He had an effortless cool, he was 1 of 1 and truly loved his wife, son, and grandson.
Paul departed this life on Thursday, June 23, 2023, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, father, Paul Carter, and mother, Nacoma (Williams) Carter.
Paul is survived by his loving spouse of 55 years Rebecca; son, Paul Michael Carter II; one grandchild; Xander Carter, sister, Lorna Horsey; brother, Eric Carter; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Paul will be terribly missed by all who knew him.
