Montize Lavelle Chapman

Montize Lavelle Chapman, 31, was born July 28, 1990, at Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA (Oakland). He was the beloved son to Kenneth Chapman and Mecca Reddick Vaccaro.

Montize, affectionately known as Tezzy, was raised in Duquesne, PA. He graduated from West Mifflin High school. After graduation he took a position with CVS Health as a Customer Care Associate, followed by Fayette Resources as a Home Health Aide before becoming an Aide with Passavant Memorial House, where he was working at the time of his death.

It was appropriate that his work was caring for others because Tezzy had a giving heart and was willing to help whenever he could. He loved to travel!  He liked good food, good drinks, and spending time with special friends Brittany and Ty. Not just an observer, he would jump in with both feet and in doing so, he lived his life to the fullest.

Montize departed this life on December 20, 2021. He was preceded in death by his Grandmothers, Leola Edwards and Rose Reddick. 

Montize is survived by his Parents, Mecca (Dennis) Vaccaro, Kenneth (Bobette) Chapman, Sr. and Aunt, Patricia Reddick who raised him from age 2 along with her daughter Ellen; Siblings, Kandis Chapman, Kenneth Chapman, Jr., Kimberly Chapman, Jasmine Gilliam, William Bowman, Jada Chapman, Montana Howard, Tristan Vaccaro, Ali Vaccaro; Grandfather Kenneth Edwards; extended family and friends.
