Mary Ruth Queen, 77, of McKeesport, was born March 2, 1948, in Industry, PA. She was the beloved daughter of the late Cecil and Carrie Spence Anderson.

Mary was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School,  a former member and past President of Mt. Vernon Elementary PTA. And she was also inducted into the softball Hall of Fame in Boston, PA.

Mary was employed at Dicks Sporting Goods warehouse working in the distribution, shipping and receiving departments.

Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, friend, and wife of the late Robert Queen, Sr.

Mary departed this life on May 24, 2025, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital in McKeesport, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Queen, Sr., father, Cecil Anderson, mother, Carrie Spence Anderson, sister, Margaret Battle, and brother, Allen Anderson.

Mary is survived by her three beloved sons, Bobby Penn, Trebor Queen, and Roberto Queen, 8 grandchildren, two brothers, Cecil Anderson and John Anderson; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved family and friends.
