Marvin Smith

Marvin Hilton Smith, 68, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was born on April 29, 1957, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. He was the beloved son of Ruby Fennell-Smith and the late Lee Hilton Smith.

Marvin had a deep love for music, especially playing the guitar. He also enjoyed fishing, handyman work, and helping others by driving them to their destinations. He was known for his kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

Marvin peacefully departed this life on March 20, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Oakland, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Hilton Smith, beloved daughter, Angelic Smith, sister, Patricia Ann Smith; and his brothers, Joseph Walker and Lewis Walker.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Ruby Fennell-Smith; his son, Justin Qualynn Smith; five grandchildren, Martaya Cromerdie, Justis Smith, Journee Smith, Justin Smith, Jr., Camauri Smith; one great‑grandson, Kymir; his sisters, Louise Walker, Sherry Smith, and Belinda King; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. His presence, laughter, and steady spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
