Marvin Dewitt Matthews, 19, of McKeesport, was born October 22, 2002, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the beloved son to Marvin Dewitt Matthews and Waynesha Monique Lundy.

Marvin graduate from Phase 4 Leaning Center,  where he would have received his high school diploma last week, instead his family received it on his behalf. Marvin worked as a Busser for the Cheesecake Factory. Marvin had a passion for making music, he was planning to become a Rapper. He loved to dress! Staying “FRESH” from head to toe. Whatever the latest fashions were, Marvin had it!

Marvin loved spending time with both families, his beloved mother and siblings. He was also embraced by his foster mother, Malicka Alston, and her family. Marvin was surrounded by “LOVE.”

Marvin departed this life on June 19, 2022, in Braddock, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his brothers, NaDarrius Lundy and Condarion Whiteside.  

Marvin is survived by his loving parents, father, Marvin Dewitt Matthews, mother, Waynesha Monique Lundy; six brothers, Leryal Matthews, Jahron Cabbagestalk, Jalon Fullard, Neko Wallace, Kenny Wallace, Daiequan Alston; five sisters, Lorae Matthews, Kariya Matthews, Shayona Anderson, Coniya Whiteside, Emerald Brown; grandparents, Wayne (JoAnn) Lundy Sr., great-grandmother Vine, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
