Martin Alexander

Martin Alexander, 83, of Clairton, was born April 6, 1940, in Rowan, North Carolina. He was the beloved son of Madie Savilla Bell.

Martin worked at McDonald's Restaurant in the custodian department in Southland, Pleasant Hills, PA.

Martin loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed walking around the city collecting different coins and visiting the local neighborhood coffee shop. He would look forward to riding the "Work Link" van daily until it was discontinued in the Clairton area. Martin also enjoyed watching church services, sports, and game shows. To help keep Martin busy, he attended Sarah’s Adult Day Care daily.

Martin was in the Lay organization and a member of the Payne Chapel A.M.E. of Duquesne, PA. 

Martin departed this life on July 25, 2023, at Jefferson Hills, PA. He was preceded in death by his beloved, wife, Angela L. Bull Carr, sister, Mary Madeline Long, and brother, Edward Alexander.

Martin is survived by his loving children; daughter, Lisa Alexander; stepchildren; Pierre (Torrance) Carr; Lolita Carr Graves; Aalyah Carr; Andre (Cassandra) Carr, Omar (Dezlyn) Carr; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
