Kwasi Husani Johnson, 46, of Clairton, was born June 25, 1978, in McKeesport, PA. He was the beloved son of Ulysses and Velma Sayles-Johnson. He was the youngest of 14 siblings.
Kwasi attended school at Clairton High School and graduated in 1998. He played football in high school and at a Junior College in Syracuse.
During his adult years, he became an entrepreneur. He sold herbal soaps, homemade body balms, incense, and body oils. He also had a deep love for music. He enjoyed writing and performing his raps and poems.
He had a strong relationship with God; he was a member of Mt Olive Baptist Church in Clairton, PA.
He was known for always having many friends, an inviting smile, and an unforgettable personality. He was a true advocate for love, joy kindness, and peace.
Kwasi peacefully departed this life on September 1, 2024, at Southwestern in West Mifflin, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, Ulysses Johnson, brothers, Rodney Johnson, Manning Williams, Myron Johnson, Steven Williams, and sister, Stefanie Johnson.
Kwasi is survived by his beloved mother, and three children, daughter, Jazzlyn George; two sons, Kwari Jackson and Kai’Aire Johnson; one grandson, Aanye Grimsley, significant other, Shay Ramsey, siblings, Stanford (Tonia) Johnson, Terri Williams, Charlotte Johnson Taylor, Tyrone Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Eric (Adrienne) Williams, Lennon (Serita) Johnson, Keita Williams; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
