Kenlein DeWone Ogletree Obituary

Kenlein DeWone Ogletree, 23, of Clairton, was born June 24, 2001, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was the beloved son of Leiah Clifford and the late Kenneth Ogletree Sr.


Kenlein graduated from Clairton High School where he was a part of the Robotics team and participated in all sports. He was a gifted and talented athlete who excelled in football, basketball, baseball, and track. Kenlein, with no previous experience, once competed in a WPIAL high jump competition and won. He had the athletic ability to adjust to whatever sport he played. An exceptional football player, he was instrumental in the Clairton Bears’ success during his time on the team. Kenlein attended Lackawanna College and took business management courses. Kenlein loved sports and played on Arby’s and Elizabeth Forward’s coed softball teams.


Kenlein was raised in the church and attended Kingdom Come Ministries from an early age. He participated in the Impact Youth group, played in theater productions, mimed, and sang in the youth choir. From a child, Kenlein was sensitive and reverent of the things of God. He was good-hearted, free-spirited, respectful, and always willing to help where he could.


He was a lifeguard at Clairton’s local swimming pool and a truck driver for Phil’s delivery service and Geeter Enterprize. Kenlein enjoyed swimming, riding a dirt bike, quads, and playing PlayStation with his family and friends.  He was adventurous and loved life. 


Kenlein departed this life on June 26, 2024, in Clairton, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ogletree, Sr., sister, Kendrieah Ogletree, and grandparents, Phillip Clifford Sr. and Kenneth Smith.


Kenlein leaves behind his loving mother, Leiah Clifford of Clairton, PA; two brothers, Anthony Ogletree and Kenneth Ogletree, Jr.; four sisters, Taleese Ogletree, Kenna Ogletree, Keneiah Ogletree, Kendreiah; two grandmothers, Norma Hairston, Sheila Ogletree; one nephew, Carmello Ogletree, extended family, and many friends.
