Keith Jay Simmons

Keith Jay Simmons, 56, of Clairton, died Saturday, June 6, 2020 suddenly at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Gary and Doreen Simmons. 

Keith, son of the late Cicero Simmons Jr and Helen Harvey Simmons was born March 21, 1964. He enjoyed cooking, music, movies, and spending time with his family, vacationing with his family in Atlanta and locally with his nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Simmons was a graduate of Clairton High School, where he played the running back position sporting #32. He was a competitive Dart player and a comic-book enthusiast. He was employed at Allegheny General Hospital (EVS) for over 5 years.  Everyone and anyone who knew or even came in contact with him, loved him and his infectious smile and laugh.

Keith will truly be missed by all. He leaves to cherish his memories; son, Xavier (Desire'e) Plummer of McKees Rocks, PA; daughter, Nina Ragland of Philadelphia, PA; grandson, Kingston Plummer; granddaughter, Kendrix Plummer; siblings, Marilyn (Douglass) Webb of West Mifflin, PA, Yvonne (Richard) Powell of Ellerbe, NC, Cicero Simmons III of Philadelphia, PA, Deborah Simmons of Atlanta, GA, Jeffrey Simmons, Donna Jackson, both of Clairton, PA, Jacqueline Simmons of Pittsburgh, PA; host nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
