Karen C. Johnson

Karen C.  Johnson, 56, of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Baldwin Community Health Center.

She was born October 16, 1961 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Rev. Donald and Marlene Sparks Johnson.

She was an active member of the Christian Center Church of Belle Vernon, where she was the Worship Leader, Daisy Troop Leader, and the Coordinator of the Women's Retreat.  Karen was a prayer warrior, who would pray for you before she prayed for herself.  Prior to working as the Office Manager of Mar-Bil Diamond and Jewelry in Belle Vernon, Karen was the Regional manager of PNC Bank offices located in Monongahela and Irwin.  She loved music, especially Gospel music and she loved to sing.  She was quite the fashionista.  She loved fashion and knew how to put together an outfit. She was known for her sense of humor and her quick-wit.  Even during her battles with her health, she could make you laugh. She was a selfless woman who loved her niece and nephews.  She will be missed by all who knew her

Left to cherish her memories are her three siblings, D. Craig (Yolanda) Johnson of Pittsburgh, Iris L. Armstrong of Jacksonville, FL, and Mary (Ryan) Blocher of Clairton; nephews, Shane David (Joe) Armstrong, Christian Armstrong, Enoch, and Daunte; niece Kennedy and many other friends and relatives that will miss her.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2-6 p.m. in the Christian Center Church, 130 Charity Lane, Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, where a memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Interment will be private.
