On December 15th, Joseph, 81, loving husband and father passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born August 2, 1939 in McKeesport Hospital to Samuel and Bessie M. Fergerson. Joseph was the youngest of eight children. He proudly served in the United States Army where he was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Joseph Alexander Fant, known by many as “Red” was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind compassionate spirit. He was also an avid music lover. He was a true family man.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Faith; sons, Tyler, Isaac, and Wesley; daughters, Marquita, and Shelley Fant; sister, Eunice Schley and 11 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other loved ones.
