Jay’Montae Dewayne Williamson, 24, from Duquesne, PA, was born October 12, 2000, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the beloved son of Orlando Cobbs and Quania Williamson, along with his stepfather Jamar Saunders Sr.

Jay’Montae attended school and graduated from West Mifflin High School in 2019. He was the 6th oldest out of 8 siblings. Jaymontae was a very kind-hearted, lovable, outgoing young man, he was a leader, protector, and provider to everyone around him. He loved for everyone to get along; he was the glue and peacemaker to our family. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was the best son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. Jay`Montae was a jokester; he enjoyed listening to rap music, he loved anime, and he was also an Artist. He could draw very well and even received offers for his drawings, and he loved him some soul food. He was a safe space for many with his big heart. He was someone who always had a plan, a vision. and solution for everything and always had a smile on his face. Anyone who was around him felt his positive and loving energy and presence. He made everyone around him smile, and he knew how to lighten up everyone's mood.

Jay’Montae worked seasonally with his family and friends.

Jay’Montae departed this life on March 3, 2025, at his Turtle Creek, PA residence. He was preceded in death by his best friend, Marcel Taylor, and his Grandparents, Larry Banks, Annie Cobbs, Freda Mae Jitters, and Sadie Atkins

Jay’Montae is survived by his beloved parents; Sisters: Ja’Teyha Williamson, Lanasia Williamson, Jamara Saunders, Janiyah Brown, and Artasia Thomas; Brothers: Jamar Saunders Jr., Quamar Saunders, Jaquan Saunders; one nephew, Zayden Williams; Grandmothers Darlene Williamson and Suteakee Cobbs; cousins, and extended family, and friends
