James Odell Wilson Obituary

James Odell Wilson, 91, of Clairton, was born December 10, 1932, in Newberry, South Carolina. He was the beloved son of the late Eddie and Willie Lee Gary.


James After graduating from high school James enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and then the Army. He enjoyed traveling all over the world. During his career in the military, he received many awards and certificates. When he separated from the service, he received an honorable discharge. James had a career working in the military where he retired from in 1992.


He later moved to North Carolina, after losing the love of his life Linda. James later moved to Clairton PA. to be near his sister Mildred and her family.


James departed this life on Friday, January 12, 2024, peacefully surrounded by his beloved family at home in Clairton, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, father Eddie, mother, Willie Lee Gary, and wife, Mrs. L. Wilson.


James is survived by his beloved sister, Mildred P. Nails of Clairton, PA, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
