George Lindsey Wright, 59, of Clairton, was born October 2, 1963, in McKeesport, PA. He was the beloved son of the late George and Janie Wright.

George was affectionately known as Lenny. He graduated from the Clairton Area School District, and later, enlisted in the US Army. After a serious injury, he became disabled.

Lenny enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching football and he loved to cook. One of his favorite things to cook was “fried chicken.” Everyone who knew Lenny well knew he loved to “TALK SMACK!” You had to know him, but that was Lenny.

Lenny departed this life on October 31, 2022, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Janie Wright, and sisters, Heather Hendrix, Juanita Hopkins, and Melvina Jones.

Lenny is survived by his loving spouse, Tracy Hicks Wright; two sons, Lindsey Wright, and Keith Wright; two stepsons, Delvon Dockery, and Delray Dockery; stepdaughter, Naomi Dockery; eleven grandsons; eight granddaughters, two brothers, Timothy Wright, and Rudolph Wright; nieces, nephews, Hamlin family, extended family, and friends.
