The Life Celebration of Frederick Lamar Arnold II
Frederick Lamar Arnold II, named after his father and affectionately known as Freddie, departed this life at the age of 63. He was the son of Frederick L. and Barbara Arnold and was born in Mckeesport Hospital in 1959, in McKeesport, PA. He was the first child of Fred and Barbara and the first grandchild of his Grandmother Eva Gressem.
Freddie was raised in Clairton, but his father was in the Army and after eight years they were transferred to Germany for three years, which began a series of moves for a total of nine years. Last three years he and his siblings attended Nurenburg High School in Nurenburg, Germany. They returned to the United States in 1975 to Fort. Riley Kansas. In Kansas, he attended Junction City High School in Junction City, KS,
After living in Kansas for two years, they returned to Clairton. Freddie worked for many years in different restaurants as a cook and various other jobs In food service. He later married Emily Arnold and lived in Rankin, PA. They were married for 36 years. Even though they were separated for a while, they kept in contact with each other until the time of his death.
He also had artistic abilities, drawing pictures of his grandmother and grandfather’s home in Large, PA. He also drew cartoons on his mother’s letters and cards to his nieces and nephews. He also was a free-spirited person.
He lived in Tampa, FL, for a number of years until the time of his death. He was loved by his mother, father, and relatives and is sadly missed by them. Freddie was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara (Gressem) Arnold, sister, Evamarie Arnold, and stepson Mark Kaseky. He is survived by his father, Frederick L. Arnold of Clairton, PA, brother, Terry Arnold of Warner Robins, Ga, sister, Jean D. Arnold of Hagerstown, Md, and brother Bruce D. Arnold of Clairton, wife, Emily Arnold of McKees Rock, Pa and his stepchildren, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
