Freddie Robbins, 88, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania was born September 26, 1933, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the beloved son to the late John and Edna Green-Robbins.
Freddie was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. Freddie was a member of The American Legion Post 666 for 11 years. He worked at Krispy Kreme Doughnut, Steel Mill, Auberle, School Bus Driver with perfect attendance with dedication & commitment to children’s safety. He enjoyed working on cars & would help his friends/family with repairs of their vehicles. He was a creative person with a natural niche for carpentry, electrical, mechanical, & plumbing workmanship. He performed most of the maintenance in the upkeep of his home. Freddie was a man of many talents.
Freddie departed this life on August 13, 2022, at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Robbins, mother, Edna Lucille Green-Robbins; wife, Jemiline (Flowers) Robbins; sons, David Waller and Donnie Waller; sister Rever Raysor; brothers John A. Robbins, Willie S. Jenkins, James Robbins and Nathaniel Robbins.
Freddie is survived by his loving family, son, Jerry Waller of McKeesport, PA; three daughters, Angeline Jones of McKeesport, PA, Elaine Waller of McKeesport, PA, Jemiline Franklin of McKeesport, PA; eight grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, sixteen great-great-grandchildren, sister, Hattie Washington of Columbia, SC; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
