Frank Darry Hollis (Tim), 65, of Elizabeth departed this life on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born December 16, 1955, in McKeesport, and was the son of the late Frank and Ella Juanita Smith Hollis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Broomfield, siblings, Charles Hollis, and Debra Hollis.
Frank was a Clairton High School graduate. He attended the Dean Institute of Technology College, where he received his associate's degree and became a certified electrician. Frank was employed at US Steel Corp Clairton where he worked in the HVAC department. He moved to Maryland and was a Contract Electrician on Bolling Air Force Base. After retiring in 2004, he moved back to his hometown and worked at Manor Care as an HVAC technician and Fayette Resources as a DCS.
Frank enjoyed working with the Autistic adult population. He was a former member of Gethsemane Church of God in Christ. He had many hobbies, which included playing the guitar, gardening, and fishing. Most of all, he enjoyed sports cars, especially his corvette.
Frank is survived by his children, Shaun Richard Hollis of McKeesport, Jacinta Broomfield-Powell of Memphis, TN, Leslie Broomfield of Springfield, IL; siblings, Lance (Melony) Hollis of Atlanta, GA, Brenda Hollis of Clairton, Jesse (Bonduree) Hollis of Cheltenham, MD, Holly Holmes of Clairton, Kim Hollis (Monessa), Jason (Stacey) Hollis of Verona; grandchildren that he loved dearly, Antoine, Jaliya, Aniya, Alyja, Alyssa; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
