Emanuel Daniels

Emanuel H. Daniels, 75, was born August 12, 1946, in Pittsburgh, PA.  He was the beloved Son to the late Charles and Hattie Cruise Daniels. Emanuel departed this life on October 24, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Charles, William ‘Wimpy,’ Nathaniel, Roosevelt ‘Coochie,’ Robert ‘Rip,’ Asa and his sister, Martha Daniels.  His brother and sister Harry Cruise and Dorothy Johnson also preceded him in glory; and he adored a ‘special’ nephew who also preceded him in glory, Nathaniel “Bucky” Daniels, Jr. 

Emanuel attended the Pittsburgh Public School system. Emanuel enjoyed singing in his church choir and listening to music. He loved people and would frequently jitney with several of his friends on Center Avenue. Emanuel learned the trade of operating heavy equipment and became a Heavy Equipment Operator.  He attended various churches in the City of Pittsburgh and prior to his demise he was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, where his Pastor and friend are the Reverend James E. Gorman, Jr.

Emanuel is survived by his loving wife Rhonda, children-Stacey Carter (James) Turtle Creek, PA; Lopez Daniels San Juan California, Jamilla Daniels-Cantrell (Vernon), San Francisco, California, Alphonso Daniels, California, Renee Scott (Grady), Renard Smith and Dana (James) Johnson; Antwan, Tamika, Jamie, Kiawna, and Monique Demery; Leona Morris, Veena Kelly a special friend along with thirty grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
