Ella (Robinson) Smith

Ella Robinson Smith, 98, was born July 9, 1923, in Tuscaloosa, AL.  The beloved daughter of Virgil Robinson Sr. and Estella Sowell Robinson. Ella departed this life on July 25, 2021, in McKeesport, PA. She was preceded in death by her mother, Estella Sowell Robinson, husband, Willie Smith, son, Johnnie Smith, daughter, Willie Lou Lewis.  

 She attended school in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. For years Ella worked as a Homemaker. She married the love of her life, Willie Smith. To this union, they had 5 children. Ella and Willie lived in McKeesport, PA.  For years Ella worked as a Homemaker. She later remarried to John Robinson of Clairton, PA. Ella enjoyed cooking and loved her family. She remained a devoted and faithful member of St. Luke Baptist Church on the Hill District in Pittsburgh, PA. Ella also serviced on the Usher Board for several years. 

Ella is survived by her beloved children; two daughters, Linda Blake, and Caroline Spears; one son, Al Smith; all of McKeesport PA. And her brother, Virgil Robinson; her beloved granddaughter Tonya Spears, whom she raised, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
