Elijah Chapman, Jr

Elijah Chapman, Jr., 69, son of the late Elijah and Martha (Woodard) Chapman Sr., was born on February 14, 1951 in McKeesport, PA. “Slick” as he was affectionately known, passed away on  June 18, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Leola Edwards, Gail Sanders, Sandra Harvey Leonard, Clarence, and William Chapman,

Elijah, a graduate of Clairton High School, worked for ABM Maintenance for many years. He was an avid Chess player. He also loved sports, especially basketball and football.

Elijah  is survived by his three sisters, Shirley Sanders, Evelyn  Stoutamire, Karen  Chapman, all of Clairton, PA; two brothers, Claude Chapman of North Versailles, PA, Barry  Chapman of Clairton, PA; aunt, Francis Fontain; uncles, Calvin (Sally) Woodard), Robert (Francis) Woodard of Eastover, SC; special friend, Marva Simmons; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
