Edna M. (Singleton) Jones

Mrs. Edna Singleton Jones, of McKeesport PA, departed this life on October 16, 2021, at her home. Born in Charleston S.C. to the late Gabe and Emma Brown Singleton.

She is also proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years. Charles E. Jones Sr., daughters, Patricia A. Singleton, Caroline E. Singleton Tolbert and Sharon Jones, son Charles E. Jones Jr., 3 grandchildren, Felisha P. Singleton, Saniah G. Tolbert, and Ameer R. Bentley, siblings; William (Bill) Singleton, Arthur Eugene, and O’Neil Halder, and Florence Griffin.

Edna was also employed for a short time at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York before coming to McKeesport PA. Edna loved spending time with her family, and grandchildren, they were the love of her life! Edna was a faithful member of St Paul AME in McKeesport PA, where she served as a member of the Stewardess Board.

She is survived by sons, Michael L. (Marilyn) Singleton, Brian Jones, daughter, Cynthia J. Jones all of McKeesport, stepson, Virgil (Davita) Jones of Monroeville, siblings, Evelyn Harris of Charlotte N.C., Ethel Holmes of Palm Bay FL,14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
