Earl Davis 76, of Duquesne, PA was born July 7, 1946, in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the beloved son of the late William Jr. and Fannie (Dent) Davis. Earl was a lifelong resident of Duquesne, growing up in the Cochrandale Projects where everyone was family.

He worked for the Mozart Management company, as a State Store Clerk in Duquesne, and for the Pennsylvania nonprofit Goodwill. He continually enhanced his education over the years receiving multiple certifications from the Urban League of Pittsburgh, the Allegheny Department of Federal Programs, and The Community College of Allegheny County. His accomplishments in the fields of residential electricity, introduction to Microcomputers, and key system installation to name a few would solidify his reputation as an all-around “handyman.” There was never an odd job Earl would not do for his family and friends. Everything Earl did was done with excellence and pride.

Earl came to know Christ at an early age while attending New Jerusalem Holiness Church under the leadership of Elder Michael and Pastor Sally Bradley. Due to the pandemic and health issues to follow, Earl was no longer able to attend services at BBC. His presence was sorely missed.

Spending time with his family and friends was one of Earl’s greatest pleasures. You could always find him at his sister Irene’s on Thanksgiving and his sister Virginia’s on Christmas.
