Dorothy Greene, 91, was born on October 4, 1934, in Sumter, South Carolina, to the late Sydney and Sylvia Mills.

Dorothy graduated from Clairton High School in 1952, and she went on to earn an associate degree from Community College of Allegheny County in 1979.

She worked and attended school while raising two children as a single parent. She started her career as a preschool teacher and went on to work for a Head Start program located in Clairton, PA. 

Dorothy was best known for her fashion and her love of bingo.

Dorothy passed away on November 30, 2025, at Latrobe Hospital in Latrobe, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sydney and Sylvia Mills, son, Raffel Greene, and grandson, Raffel Greene Jr.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Tamar Smiley of Dallas, TX, grandchildren, Daniel, Brandon, Jeremiah, and Rakell, nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
