Donald Howard "Duck" Herndon

Donald Howard "Duck" Herndon, 77, of Clairton, Pennsylvania, departed this life on Sunday, July 21, 2019 in Kane Community Living Center, McKeesport.

“Duck”, as he was affectionately known, was born February 5, 1942 in Durham, NC, son of the late Edgar Herndon, Sr.  and Mary Ann Harrington.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jeana Arnette Williams Herndon, sister, Marion Page and brothers, Edgar Herndon, Jr., Willie E. Herndon, Charles A. Herndon, Sterling Herndon, Eugene Herndon, Augustus Herndon, Jim Herndon, and Lee Edwards.

He worked as a Laborer for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Rhumon D. (Darlyne) Herndon of Washington, D.C.; daughter, Tausha J. Herndon of Pittsburgh; sister, Carrie “Bae” Allen of Durham, NC, nieces, nephews, and friends.
