Demetrius Tyrone Pirl

Demetrius Tyrone Pirl, 52 affectionately known as

“Dirty Meech” (amongst many others) departed this life on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.  He was born December 22, 1969, at McKeesport Hospital in McKeesport PA., to the late Larry D. Hill (Kincaid) and Twanda L. Pirl (Lokie), he was also preceded in death by, his sister Ericka Pirl (Erie). He was the second child and oldest son of six children.

Demetrius resided most of his life in Duquesne PA., he grew up in Cochrandale Projects. Graduated from the class of 1988 from Duquesne Senior High School, where he was an amazing basketball player known as "Precious Pirl ". He was an employee/cook at Zarra's Italian Restaurant located in Pittsburgh PA., and a former owner of Demi's Diner located in Duquesne PA. Demetrius was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church located in Duquesne PA. and enjoyed his relationship with Pastor, Archie D. Perrin Jr. as his spiritual leader.

As a child, Demetrius was an adventurous mischievous, and a loyal friend to many. He also had a “gift to gab”, some may even say he was a great debater (ya feel me.) He definitely had a very unique way of making every person he encountered feel special.

Being generous, always looking his best, and lighting up a room with his infectious smile, were many of his attributes, but most importantly he immensely enjoyed being around his family and friends.

Demetrius was absolutely one of a kind and lived his life to the fullest. He will always be remembered in the hearts and minds of those who cared for him deeply: He leaves to cherish in his memory; his children, Clinton, Demisha, Jaquan, Demetrius Jr, DeVaughna, Anisa, Lena, Zyra, Solona, Demina, Hayden, and Hailey, one godson Rahde,   five beloved grandchildren; his four siblings; Mia, Kisha, John, and Issac, countless aunts and uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many, many, many, other relatives and friends…..
