Debra Ann McDougald, 67, affectionately known as Debbie, was born on October 12, 1958, at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, to Mary Lou Bradford Cunningham and the late Arthur Smith. She departed this life on February 20, 2026, at AHN Jefferson Hospital in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania.

Debbie grew up in Clairton, Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Clairton High School as an honor student. Shortly after graduation, she married her then‑husband, Harvey McDougald, and together they traveled the country while he served in the United States Army. From this union, four beautiful children were born: LaRell, Kevon, Dana, and Darian McDougald.

Debbie was a devoted homemaker whose cooking skills were unmatched—she could outcook any chef and took pride in preparing meals that brought people together. She loved socializing, laughing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Known for her generous spirit, Debbie opened her home and her heart to anyone she loved, offering a warm meal, a safe place to stay, and unwavering support. She lived life boldly and on her own terms, with a kindness that left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Smith, and her beloved sons, Kevon McDougald and Darian McDougald. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Mary Lou Cunningham; her son, LaRell McDougald; her daughter, Dana McDougald; sixteen grandchildren; three great‑grandchildren; her brothers, Fredrick Cunningham and James Cunningham; along with nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Debbie’s legacy of love, generosity, and strength will continue to shine through the family she nurtured and the countless lives she touched.
