Cynthia B. Smith, 68, was born January 29, 1954, and raised in McKeesport, PA., Cindy was the only beloved child of the late Orville and Pearl Corey. 

After high school, Cindy worked different jobs until she found her calling.  Returning to school for nursing, she became an L.P.N. at St. Francis Hospital in the physical rehabilitation department. After a couple of years, Cindy furthered her education, in which she became a Certified Credentialing Specialist. She worked there until the hospital closed, at which time she continued to do this job at UPMC until her retirement.

Cynthia departed this life on January 22, 2023, at McKeesport, PA. She was preceded in death by her significant other, Donald Thompson, father, Orville Corey, mother, Pearl Corey; and, Pitbull Lab, Tazzy,

Cynthia is survived by her beloved nephew, Pareese Smith of Braddock, PA; friends, Abby Lloyd Cunha of Ocala, FL; Denita Haraburda of Penn Hills, PA; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
