Clinton Roy Sanford

Clinton Roy Sanford 65, of  McKeesport, Pennsylvania, was born May 30, 1958, in McKeesport Pennsylvania, to the late Calhoun Sanford, Jr. and Millie Johnson Sanford.

Clinton attended the Wilkinsburg School District where he graduated in 1976.

Clinton worked at the Westinghouse Air Brake Company in Wilmerding, PA., for about 15 years as a laborer, East Hills Public Housing Complex in Pittsburgh, PA. as a security guard, for a few years and he was currently employed at the Imani Christian Academy in the Athletic Department as Head of Security for the last 8 years. He was very active in supporting the Duquesne Community Day annual picnic. He faithfully attended this event to work on the grill cooking hot dogs and hamburgers for the community, with brothers, Meredith Kelly, and Clifford Simon. Clinton never complained and was willing to help in any way he could.

Clinton was an active member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, in Duquesne, Pennsylvania under the leadership of Rev. Archie D. Perrin Jr., Pastor. He was also a member of the Usher Board, Men’s Choir, Senior Choir, Hospitality Committee, and Parking Attendant for Sunday outdoor services.

Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Yvonne Sanford, and brother, Anthony “Tony” Sanford. Clinton departed this life on Sunday, October 8, 2023, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.

The family left to cherish in his memory are his beloved children, Clinton Sanford, Quinton Williamson, Keith Gee, and Ciera Yelverton, eight, grandchildren; brothers, Calvin Sanford of Presto, PA., Bobby Sanford, VA., aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
