Candice L. Scott

Candice L. Scott, 49, was born July 28, 1971, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the beloved daughter of Joanne Scott and the late Clinton Dupree. Candice departed this life on July 18, 2021, at home in Duquesne, PA.  Candice was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Milton and Maggie Scott, and paternal grandparents, Clinton, and Madeline Dupree.    

Candice, affectionately known as Candy, or Candyrama, was the second child of three children. As a child Candice was loving; she liked to sing and dance. She attended Duquesne High School and graduated in June 1990. As an adult, Candice loved spending time with family and friends. Some of her favorite activities included shopping and being outdoors. Candice enjoyed playing with her grandchildren. She was also a member of Payne Chapel A.M.E in Duquesne. Candice will forever be remembered for having a big heart and being a very caring and giving person.  

Candice is survived by her daughter, Dominique Watts of Pittsburgh; three sons, Michael Watts of Duquesne, Lionel Watts of Duquesne and Tywan Scott of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren Makayla, Tywan Jr, and Teigen; two brothers Clinton (Tonya) Scott of Elizabeth, Carlos (Yolanda) Scott of Duquesne; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
