Candice Inez Perry was born on June 23, 1952, to the proud parents of the late Thomas and Helen Perry in Scottdale, Pennsylvania.
Her family relocated to Clairton, Pennsylvania where she graduated from Clairton School District. Candice went on to further her education at the University of Pittsburgh obtaining her master’s degree in business. She gained employment at Allegheny County Public Defender’s Office as a Legal Secretary and retired after thirty years. Candice was a soft-spoken and happy person, in her free time she enjoyed shopping and going to the movies with friends.
Candice was a God-fearing, faithful woman of God. She joined Morning Star Baptist Church on September 03, 2017, under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Willie J. Thompson, Jr. She enjoyed attending church service and giving God all her praise.
She transitioned from this life peacefully on September 24, 2022, in Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ernestine Nowakowski.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; daughter, Toni Richardson, son, Quinlin Smith; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Boyce, Tony, Marcus, and Richard Perry; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends
