Calvester McWhite

Calvester McWhite, Jr., 77 was born on September 23, 1942 to the late Calvester and Sarah (Eaddy) McWhite in Florence SC. Calvester passed away August 7, 2020. He was proceeded in death by his father Calvester, his brother Edward, son, Derrick, niece Delcara, and nephews Robert and Ola.

Calvester graduated school in Florence, SC and later relocated to New York and soon after New Jersey. He married Willa Mae (deceased) in 1969 and to this union 3 sons were birthed, Marvin, Derrick and Michael.  Later in life his baby girl, Christina was born.

Calvester relocated to Pittsburgh, PA in early 2000’s to help with his mother’s business. During this time, he remarried Alison “Sherry” Thomas and he worked in personal care and maintenance until he retired.

Calvester enjoyed spending time with his family and every now and then you might catch him dancing. He had a few cool moves and “what not” as he would so often say.

Calvester is survived by his wife, Sherry, two sons Marvin of Arlington, TX, and Michael, daughter Christina, sisters Genevieve Lane and Vernice Collins, brothers, Larry, Kevin and Keith McWhite, 7 grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.
