Brian Erick Johnson, 57, of McKeesport, was born June 24, 1964, in Amarillo, TX. He was the beloved son to Ralph and Nina (Akins) Johnson.

He graduated from McKeesport High School. Brian loved playing basketball. After graduating, he furthered his education at LaRoche College, where he continued in the game of playing basketball; he enjoyed playing golf too. He graduated and received a bachelor’s degree.

Brian moved to Texas. There he met and married Jean, and from their union, they had a son, Kai. Brian worked as a Fraud Investigator, employed by several Financial Institutes. Brian moved back to McKeesport three years ago, where he lived with his mother.

Brian departed this life on May 5, 2022, at his residence in McKeesport, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Johnson, Sr.  

Brian is survived by his loving children; son, Kai Johnson; daughter, Taylor Turner; mother, Nina Akins Johnson; sister, Angelina Johnson; two brothers, Keith Johnson, and Ralph Johnson; nieces and nephews, Kierre, Ashante, DreKarr, Naomi, Edwin, Cameron, extended family, and friends.
