Benjamin Cooper departed this life on April 7, 2020, peacefully with his wife by his side; he was born on November 5, 1937 in McKeesport to the late Benjamin Cooper Sr., & Bernice Bostic Cooper Davis and was also preceded in death by his daughter Kamala Cooper Hamilton, brother James Fletcher of Wilmington, Delaware.
He enlisted in the army and subsequently the air force. He was employed by MARK Construction for 20 years and part of many projects such as High View Gardens (apartments), Duquesne University (dormitories), Clairton Municipal Building and various projects throughout various states: North Carolina, Mississippi, and Louisiana.
He retired from McKeesport School District whereas; he was a Grounds Keeper of 10 years. Surviving and left to mourn are his loving wife, Marsha Renee Browning Cooper of McKeesport. Sons: Benjamin Cooper III of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Cooper of McKeesport, Daryl Cooper of Framingham, Massachusetts, and Stepdaughter: April Moore of North Versailles and stepson, Shawn Farr of McKeesport Cousins: Sandra Bostic Smith, Nancy Chavis, and Samuel Bostic Jr; all of McKeesport, 18 grandchildren and 19 great children and a host of extended family and friends.
He loved fishing, traveling, watching movies, word searches, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
