Benjamin Brown Obituary

Benjamin (Benny) Brown, 74, formally of McKeesport, PA, departed this life on December 14, 2025, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  He was born in McKeesport, PA, on July 1, 195,1 to Early Rodgers and Viola Brown.


Benny attended McKeesport Senior High School before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served during the Vietnam War.  After his tour of duty, Benny became employed at UPMC-Pittsburgh's Janitorial Services Department.  He was an avid painter and a very skilled person.


He was preceded in death by his parents, father, Early Jean Rodgers, and mother, Viola Rodgers Brown.


Benny leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Tonya L. Brown; Children, Benny Brown & Akeisha Burke, both of Duquesne, and Keno Turner of Pittsburgh; Sisters, Lorraine Thomas and Rose Rodgers, both of McKeesport, and Sarah Campbell of Pittsburgh; Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
