Welton R. Caldwell

Welton R. Caldwell, 72, of Clairton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019, in the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System H.J. Heinz Campus.

He was born May 20, 1947 in McKeesport, son of Ethel Dora Sheridan Caldwell of Clairton and the late Welton Caldwell.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Caldwell.

Welton attended Point Park College and worked as a Security Guard in Shadyside and was also a caregiver for his sister, Deborah Caldwell.

Survivors include his mother, Ethel Dora Sheridan Caldwell of Clairton; siblings, Dwight Caldwell of Clairton and Gordon Caldwell of Israel; companion of 19 years, Rose Williams of Wilmington, NC, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 10-11 a.m. in Gethsemane Church of God In Christ, 200 Crest Street, Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Melvin Brown officiating.

Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pennsylvania.
