Shirley Ann Allen

Shirley Ann Allen, 70, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, departed this life on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.

“Mickey”, as she was affectionately called, was born April 14, 1948, in Waynesburg, PA, daughter of the late George McHenry and Virginia Dorsey; she was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Nalls, and grandsons, Warren Magwood and Ricardo Magwood.

Shirley was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she was on the Praise and Worship Team and served on the Home and Hospitality Committee.  She was a Shop Clerk with Westinghouse Electric, Childcare provider, and also worked at Boomie’s Market.

Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Donald H. (Darlene) Allen and Michael L. Allen, Sr. (Penny Hall) all of McKeesport; two sisters, Jeanette Frances of McKeesport and Sandra Moses of Jefferson, PA, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many loving friends.

Friends will be received Monday from 4-8 p.m. in Bethlehem Baptist Church, 716 Walnut Street, McKeesport, Pennsylvania, where services will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Earlene Coleman officiating.

Interment will follow in the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
