Sharon B. Jones

Sharon B. Jones, affectionately known as Mama, 63, of Clairton, Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born January 23, 1955 in McKeesport, PA, daughter of Charles E. Jones, Sr. of McKeesport

And the late Juanita Thomas Prince; She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Ephron Prince, Sr. and siblings, Charles E. Jones, Sr., Theodore Jones, and Jeanie Singleton.

Sharon was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.  She enjoyed watching television, especially Westerns, Game Shows, and SVU, playing cards, and playing BINGO.  Sharon worked as a Cook and Lunch Aide for the Clairton Education Center.  Most of all she loved caring for all of her grandkids.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Reema Jones of Clairton; her son, Morris Jones of Clairton; four grandchildren, Shalynn Carter, Niona Jones, Morris Jones, Jr., an Marquise Jones; nine siblings, Virgil (Davida) Jones of Monroeville, Ephron (Lora) Prince of McKeesport, Michael (Kenya) Prince of Philadelphia, Frederick Prince of Newark, DE, David (Robin) Prince of Clairton, Ann Singleton of McKeesport, Michael (Marilynn) Singleton of McKeesport, Cynthia Jones of McKeesport, Brian Jones of McKeesport, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many living friends.

Friends will be received Monday, June 18, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Morning Star Baptist Church, 307 Shaw Avenue, Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Crawford James officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Hill, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.
