Scott Lamont Hill

Scott Lamont Hill, 55, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Butler, PA.

Born November 22, 1967 in McKeesport, son of the late Lawrence Geeter, Jr. and Lula Delores Hill; also preceded in death by his sister, Gwendolyn Hill.  Scott was the loving husband of Evelyn L. Freeman Hill of McKeesport.

Scott was a member of New Life Ministries in Duquesne, where he was a minister, an Elder, and a former member of the McKeesport Ministerium.  He was also 1985 Duquesne High School graduate, went on to serve in the US Marine Corp and worked in Construction.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn L. Hill of McKeesport; two daughters, Yolanda Renee Hill of North Versailles and Asia Dianne Hill of McKeesport; three sisters, Cherlynn (Ozel) Lynn Hill of Duquesne, Faith (Richard) Lewis of Pittsburgh, and Kelley (Harvey) Hill-Brown of Homestead; half-sister, Cynthia (Curtis) Wallace of AL  and Susan Walters of Akron, OH, Carl (Evelyn) Geeter and Michael Geeter both of Savannah, GA, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends will be received Friday from 4-8 pm at Macedonia Baptist Church, 17 Cochran Street, Duquesne, Pennsylvania, where services will be on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Archie D. Perrin, Jr. officiating.

Entombment will follow in the McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
