Rose Marie (McDougald) Goree

Rose Marie McDougald Goree, 66, of Inkster, Michigan, formerly of Clairton, departed this Earthly life on Friday, February 8, 2019 in Garden City Hospital.

She was born July 26, 1952 in McKeesport, daughter of the late Harvey Edward and Mary M. Everson McDougald.

Rose was raised in Gethsemane Church of God In Christ and continued her walk with Christ in New Hope Baptist Church, Wayne, Michigan. After 30 years, she retired from General Motors.

Sugie, as she was affectionately known, was one of the most generous and kind-hearted person you would meet.  She had heart of gold and would help anyone she thought was in need.  She was truly a giver.  She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed every day. 

Survivors include her a daughter/niece Jawanna (Kenneth) Warren; three siblings, Wandra (Wilbur) Sparks, Harvey (Carla) McDougald, and Derrick McDougald; goddaughter, Jasmine Bowles; devoted friends, Jerlene Armstrong, Shavonda Martin, Sandra Smith, Shawnta Martin, and Henry Peterson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to name.

Friends will be received Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gethsemane Church of God In Christ, 200 Crest Street, Clairton, Pennsylvania, where services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:00 am with Elder Melvin Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Hill, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania.
