Mary Alice Bradford

Mary Alice Bradford, 89 of Palmdale, California. Formerly of Clairton, PA departed this life peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2019 in ProCare Hospice, Lancaster CA.

Mary was born January 4, 1930 in Wetumka, AL. Daughter of the late Mose and Rose McKenny-Bradford.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Bradford Canady. 

She worked as a seamstress for many years in New York City before returning back home to Clairton, where she reunited with the Morning Star Baptist Church and was a faithful member until her health failed.

Mary leaves behind to cherish her love, and memories son, Toby (Gwendolyn) Smith, five Grandchildren; one brother, William Bradford of Clairton; A sister, Mary Lou Cunningham of Las Vegas, NV.

Friends will be received Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at 11:00am in the Morning Star Baptist Church, 307 Shaw Ave Clairton, PA Where services will be held at 12:00 noon with The Rev Gloria Ruffing officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery Elizabeth PA.
