Marilyn Joyce Jackson

Mrs. Marilyn Joyce Jackson was born on May 3, 1953, in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Willie Moody and Betty Moody Graham. She peacefully took her rest on November 19, 2020.
Marilyn is a graduate of Hopkins High School in Columbia, SC. She later married the late Albert Jackson and moved to Clairton Pennsylvania where she became a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. Marilyn is retired from UMPC Hospital, Mckeesport, PA, and has worked for Joann Fabrics for the past 30 years. She loved cooking, shopping, sewing, and making blankets. 

Marilyn was preceded in death by her twin sister Ms. Carolyn Moody Sumter.

Marilyn is survived by her loving children; one son Vincent Moody Sr. of Columbia, SC two daughters Cortina DeLoach of Columbia, SC, and Brittany Jackson of Clairton, PA. One granddaughter like a daughter; Shantelle Moody of Clairton, PA, Two sisters-in-law; Caroline Jackson of Clairton, PA, and Kimberly (Thomas) Jackson of Canonsburg, PA. Two loving Aunts; Eula Mae Koon and Martha Ray of Columbia, SC. Grandchildren; Raven, Paige, Vincent Jr. Patience, Devonte, James, Brandon, Tywon, Kristian, TaVaughn, and Kimora. Great-grandchildren; Brandon, Brendon, Vincent III, and Kasun. Three nieces Carlo Yarbrough, Yvette Sumter of Columbia, SC, and Tara (Kwan) Henry of Summerville, SC, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
